I just finished Robert Parker's Stone Cold, which is one of his Jesse Stone series. In reading it I discovered that there are disturbing (or comforting, depending on your pov) similarities between the main character's relationships and my own. I often use literature to escape from my reality, but not when my reality is somewhat contained in the literature. Please get out of my head, Parker man!
