Okay, friends, so let me say it again: if you don't trumpet out the fact that it's your birthday, or that it's coming up, I will probably forget. It's not because I don't love you. I am merely forgetful. I have some folks' birthdays written into my calendar, but since I don't always check it, it's not a surefire method. I am deeply sorry, but that's the way it is.
